Looking for a good provider. Please reccomend!

Hey, I'm looking for a good company to go with for a reseller account. I'm looking for something less than $5/GB of space. HostGator looks good and from what I've read on this site they look okay. costs are in my range as well. How about the offers in the Advertising forum? Can they be trusted? I see some insane offers like 15 GB of space for $11.95/m. It's not real, is it? Just new companies overselling like anything to get customers, right? I don't want to have to go from company to company. I'd appreciate any reccomendations, and if you're with them right now, or have used them in the past and left a happy customer, that'd be amazing. Thanks!

Well, I'd recommend pxtek.com. I've been with them for quite some time now. They've always had great support for me, and were always able to respond in a timely / respectable manner Their uptime is pretty good, as I haven't really noticed any downtime, so I guess if you're up for it, check out pxtek.com, I definately recommend them

Some of the offers in the Advertising forum are from good companies. I would go through and pick a few out and do a search for reviews on WHT or google.

Why don't you do a search and narrow down your options.. that way it will be easier for all of us to tell which is good and which are the ones not..

i think hostgator is good option to start for you, good support, live chat, free billing software and more..

Hello, Remember to play it smart when searching for a host. You've obviously picked up on the too good to be true deals so go with your senses. If you think its too good to be true or is questionable, move onto the next host. You have to be really picky when finding a host. This way it ensures you get exactly what you want. John

I agree. Massive amounts of disk space and bandwidth coupled with extremely low costs is usually the recipe for disaster. And I've heard the crash and burn stories too many times here at WHT.

Not really. cheap host doesn't mean to come with bad support

my opinion is to choose a middle price company and also put your eyes on them for at least a week before you begin your account .. that because 2 resons .. very cheap accounts normally mean bad support AND/OR heave loaded servers. and both things are the most unwated points in that field and also try to find a FRIENDLY company that could help you to begin your resller account and try to help you even more than what is normally offered from other companies . Last point do not try to use a company offer the over reselling accounts for there resellers .. it is great profit for you ( as reseller ) to get over reselling account .. but think aout the server load ( DNS, Mail ...etc. ) these things donot use the storage of the server .. but use the resources of the hardware and memmory .. and also as much as the server get accounts the more chance to get the shared IPs banned sue to spam , traffic .. etc.

You may want to check out www.resellerzoom.com I'm with them and very happy. Stay away from the budget plans though.

Which Resellerzoom plans are you using? How long have you been with them?

I wouldn't reccomend resellerzoom, Ive used them before, wasnt best expirence. I'm currently using fuse9, and there services are nice. They have custom fpanel which you manage your sites from, and billing and support. They have phone support, its nice. Might check them out.

Are their budget plans placed on different servers or something?

We recommend Site5. Because their support is fast and good. The network is uptime %99.9. Their costs are not expensive. The servers are working fast. Site5 gives service since 1999. They are a reliable company.
