ffmpeg installation tutorial ?

Hello, Can you guys guide me to a website or link explain how to install ffmpeg on vps or dedicated server, I search google but I saw that different websites have different steps of installation so plz tell me which site explain this setup better thanks in advance 14

All those "how to" around are mostly to compile everything from source which is a pain in the *** not to mention the fact that they take ffmpeg and mplayer sources from trunk. You are better of with an rpm installation, just install rpmforge and then run Then you can install flv2tool and the php extension from source.

I tried this onme but it seems somefiles of wget is not exist anymore

it looks like it's addon for cPanel I have DirectAdmin installed on my server

thanks but why they don't explain where to upload the files and how to execute it in which root path I should put the ffmpeginstaller package, is it on /usr/local/src

you can download the file wherever you want.. untar it and then cd into the directory and then run sh setup.sh and then the script will do all the downloading of packages from svn.

thank you , I did like you said and all works and the installation begin till I get to a message saying "No FFMPEG Checkour press Enter to Downlaod or Ctrl + C to abort" I pressed Enter and it start to install stuff then after 5 minutes I ended with same message again here screenshot http://i56.tinypic.com/rtmdkg.jpg does that mean it's now installed

Not the same message, judging from your screenshot it failed to download the first time and wanted to use a different method. Our installer might work on directadmin, never had a chance to test it but if you're up for it feel free to contact me and we can give it a try.
