Anti-Scam/Spam Api

| One of my clients has been getting a lot of scam/spam members sending out private messages to other members.
We currently use botscout for bots and it works well. Here's a sample of the scam mail
Is there an out of the box, anti scam/spam api out there we can integrate into our registration forms?

| What software is your client using?
Is it a forum or blog?
There's http://www.stopforumspam.com/ and http://akismet.com/
If you are using vbulletin there is a module "Spam-O-matic" which queries one or both of them. Can be found on vbulletin.org
I beleive there is also a module for wordpress.

| Its a custom built social networking website. We built it from ground up. I need to implement it on the registration forms.
Stopforumscam doesn't seem to be detecting users like this through their api. Got negative results.

| First thing you should do is to have a captcha verification enabled in the registration forms which will help a great deal to block the spam through the forms.

| while I appreciate the gesture, captchas are pretty much standard and they really don't help.
