Blocking users with dynamic IPs...

Hi, I run a Minecraft game server in offline mode and whenever I IP ban someone - they just seem to come back in 15 minutes after restarting their router. I try finding their host and blocking IT but it doesn't work, since I think Minecraft only sees the IP. Is there any foolproof way to blocking a user behind multiple dynamic IPs without blocking a range, etc, without having to IP-ban them each time they join.

You can't actually block someone using dynamic IP unless you block that specific range.

Zixt, minecraft can't handle IP Ranges in bans. You'll need to use iptables to handle it.

You could block their entire ISP range. But then you are limiting access to a lot of legitimate players that might be on the same IP range.
