Backup windows to linux

I've a windows2008 server and an backup server which is linux. I've an ftp account in the backup server, that's all. I need take backup of the windows server every sun and wed to the backup server (linux). Kindly advice how to do this.

You could employ a simple shell script to schedule an ftp backup.
If there are databases involved, you should probably ask your support team to schedule a backup process, which writes backup to your home directory, which will enable you to include the db backup as well.

If this is on a local network, I'd recommend a good NAS like Synologic. We use a 4tb NAS that backs up our windows pcs automatically to a linux NAS.

This is not in local n/w. Think I need to be more specific. I've got a windows server and 20G backup space in a linux server which is in different n/w. And got an ftp account to the linux server.
