| Guys how do I take partition backups with dd command??

| dd's not specifically designed for backups; dump is probably better if you really want to backup the entire filesystem. I'd recommend only backing up what you need though.

| You don't, it won't help. There are other ways to do backups which you should choose; tell us what you want to do and someone will give you some free advice. Which may be worth exactly what you paid for it

/dev/sda2 or /dev/sda5
