Hey Search on WHT doesn't seem to bring anything up... WHOIS: Creation Date: 2004-03-15 Registrant: Virtuoso Net Solutions Inc 43 Muncey Rd Bay Shore, New York 11706 United States Best thing to do is email them at random times and see how long it takes for you to get a response.... Liam

I think this is a new company. We have no knowledge about their reliability.

I think they used to go by a similar name, but it might not be the same company. I would also suggest a Google search. From looking at the posts above, I wouldnt go near them.

No, they have been around for a while. Most of the feedback on them is not so promising however.

They go back a few years as I posted something with an experience I had around 3 yrs ago. Just do a few searches here then decide. As for testing response times, test them. You don't have to be a customer to email sales a question. If they are slow then support isn't going to be much better. On a weekend there may be a delay for sales but this should at least be monitored if you intend to be a good host. -Jay

Their support is amazingly fast. I've had NO issues with them whatsoever. I spread my servers out across multiple providers around the US and Virtuoso is by far one of the best providers I've dealt with to this day. The server in question is http://cobra.chargertek.com - 147.202.68.26 The only shortcoming I see for many is that you do not receive a login panel where you can IPMI the servers, reboot, monitor temperatures, etc. You are at their mercy for a reboot, but their Support time is indeed VERY FAST

They've been around for a while. Never see much from them on forums though, only offers postings. I've heard 1 person verbally say good things about them, nothing bad.

Stay away if you can, this is a one man company with bat temper and poor support. Servers fails all the time. When asking for support you are called stupid/clown/idiot. Do a search on wht and you'll see some examples of unseen support service, very very bad. Regards J.

While I haven't had personal experience with them, Chad has alwasy been a pleasure to deal with. joaquinais - can you backup your statement with proof such as ticket numbers for us? Especially since you have an account with 1 post.

There's been other speculation that Chad has a short temper, but since it is indeed a one man shop I can imagine his frustration must go crazy after a day of issues, as unexcusable as it may be, I've had one box there where I host http://officialfreedom.com and have not had any issues. I think their response time is very fast and the equipment is top notch quality, so the only "Support" scenarios you may have are licensing, paying your invoice, etc...

Virtuoso is operated by one person?

Posted by Woodsy, 06-06-2006, 01:49 AM
Unfortunately, I too, had an encouter with Chad from VNS. I was spoken to, like a child while fixing an email issue. After saying "no need to get rude" he abruptly suspended my account then firewalled me from the entire site. I have researched Chad a bit and have found numerous customers having the same disgusting technical support given to them as i had recieved. There's a complete transcript and other various links on my site - woodsy.org/news.php?item.3.1 Hopefully it will 'educate the buyer' a little more and stop any potential customers from making a mistake as I had done.

I have been hosting with Virtuoso for about 2 years now and have used dedicated and VPS packages and I must say that his is by far the best and most reliable host that I have experienced. Support is fast and responses are precise to what the issues are. I would recommend anyone who wants to do serious business on the web or needs the reliablity they demand to use virtuosonetsolutions.com as their first choice.

junkie_king, what site do you have hosted with them?

Posted by junkie_king, 09-07-2006, 07:52 PM
I have several, linkwithus.com , rescuemyloan.com , junkieplanet.com just to name a few.

I have a reseller server there and so far I cant remember any problems with them. I have had morte issues with my ResellerZoom and Site 5 servers.

Yeah I just almost made the mistake of signing with them as well, without consulting WHT (my bad). If you have any doubt about what anyone is saying here about how rude they are see for yourself from their support page: " Solution: ::: Please read this carefully and you can avoid delays. Thank you ::: 1. When submitting support tickets, please be specific. Wrong: "hi email is not working, please fix!" is not acceptable and will be ignored. Correct: - provide explanation of email problem - provide actual error logs / return mail message(s) so we can trace the problem - provide actual email address(es) involved and the login information for that email so we can duplicate the problem Wrong: "ftp times out, what is the problem" Correct: - provide your ftp connection details (what ftp software, connection type [cable/lan, dial up, etc] - provide actual ftp logs in full so we can trace the problem - provide the domain in question and the domain ftp login information so we can duplicate the problem" ------------------------------------- Right? Wrong? Will be ignored? Truly, this is the vocabularly of the customer service master.

Thread is old, I am sure dhchart has made up their minds about them thus far!

Stay away, the response time is not good, but what is worse is the bad service. In all the years I have been involved with reseller hosting I had never even imagineds that anyone could have behaved so rudely. The worst thing is that the rudeness came mostly because the person answering the tickets didnt even seem to understand what the issues were. He would take long to reply, close tickets without resolving them, and resort to absolutely abrupt and rude behavior. Oh and in case you do decide to go with them, do not make him angry because he will simply deactivate your account without any notice. Oh and for those who say I have no posts here and i come bashing someone, let me just say that my experience with this person was so unbelievable that i believe that i have a civic responsibility to warn all and any person from making the same mistake. Hope it all works out for you.
