My fdisk -l shows "Partition 1 does not end on cylinder boundary." Should I worry about this? My server running on CentOS 6.2 using software RAID 1. [root@server]# fdisk -l Disk /dev/sda: 1000.2 GB, 1000204886016 bytes 255 heads, 63 sectors/track, 121601 cylinders Units = cylinders of 16065 * 512 = 8225280 bytes Sector size (logical/physical): 512 bytes / 512 bytes I/O size (minimum/optimal): 512 bytes / 512 bytes Disk identifier: 0x000bb406 Device Boot Start End Blocks Id System /dev/sda1 * 1 39 307200 fd Linux raid autodetect Partition 1 does not end on cylinder boundary. /dev/sda2 39 2650 20971520 fd Linux raid autodetect /dev/sda3 2650 5261 20971520 fd Linux raid autodetect /dev/sda4 5261 121602 934511320 5 Extended /dev/sda5 5261 121602 934509568 fd Linux raid autodetect

Nothing to worry about. This isn't really an error message, it's more of an informational tad about the fact that the /dev/sda1 partition doesn't end on the last possible block.
