But the EarthLink mail server threw me off...why would Comcast need EarthLink and vice-versa? From a professional standpoint, I'm not comfortable poking around in someone's email unless the situation runs the risk of compromising my servers' integrity. I think I'd also feel 'stalkerish' if I called a client and told them that they may be receiving junk mail that looks like it's from Comcast. On the other hand, the client is a really sweet lady and I'd hate to see her fall victim to a scam. Oh bother...someone tell me that Comcast owns part of EarthLink or something...I'm set up to do a reverse lookup match before the mail is delivered.

phishing or something - http://xfinity.comcast.net/constantguard/Alerts/, ctrl+f the subject - exact match i dunno, make up a story? is she family? i'd probably call her up and be like "i noticed you use comcast, just thought you should be aware that lately there have been a lot of emails from scammers trying to steal your information -- call comcast from their public 800 number if you have questions on it or get an email from them"

It's a professional account. At least now I have the business ammunition to initiate a phone call. Thanks for the link my friend, I appreciate it. Last edited by Johnny Cache; 03-13-2012 at 04:43 PM.
