What is your opinion of Godaddy ?

| Hi,
We've been using Godaddy's domain reseller program. So far so good.
But recently, we are trying out their hosting solutions which comes with the reseller program. This can be turned on and off. We just wanted to test their service levels.
Would anyone on this forum have an experience with Godaddy hosting? Especially their VPS and dedi?
If you have used them before, would appreciate if you could share your experience and advise.
Pls try to stay objective in this.

| Use the advance search function here, you'll see lots of threads on Godaddy's hosting services. Seems like people have problems with them.

| We use godaddy domain reselling service as well, but we never considered promoting their hosting, because of a lot of reviews on WHT.

| Isn't the GoDaddy reseller model all about giving you a pre-made template site, with pre-made plans, that let you sell?
Sites like that can be spotted miles away.
Also, reviews on GoDaddy's hosting aren't too flattering. Recently, someone I know had a problem with Plesk on their dedicated. GoDaddy's solution was to "format the server and start from scratch".

| GoDaddy hosting is bad news, you will mostly find negative reviews on their poor service and support.

| Thanks for all the feedback. We may source for another provider. Only thing is, it's hard to find one upstream provider that has such a complete solution set.
Any recommendations for a godaddy type reseller program that is as integrated and easy to use?

| I have been using godaddy/wildwest domains for reselling domains for many years now. As i know their domain registration process/management is really smooth, and it should be given the fact that wildwest domains has offered these opportunities to us, however i hear from many people that the support wait times and support in general isn't the greatest..
