Hello, I want to know how much memory limit is safe as a shared hosting provider. How much memory limit should be allowed? Regards, Chirag

Anywhere from 64M to 256M. The default value of 32M is too low so definitely raise it, but I don't know if I would go all the way up to 512M.

I would recommend always go with 128M if you're running any Control Panels or CMS heavy PHP applications get minimum PHP 5.3.5+ you'll be fine

64MB is a fairly used variable for shared hosting... If clients want to gobble up RAM then they shouldnt be on a shared server to be honest.

128M is the best value for scripts which coded by n00bs or pr0s

If you are running cheap shared plans then 64 is enough. If you run middle/high costs i'd suggest to set 64+.
