MySQL Database naming - Words, random letters?

Hi All, Was wondering if you guys think it's worthwhile naming databases as something hard to crack, i.e. 7ue3Y9l (for example), or is something like "xenforo" not really going to matter all that much?

Name it something so you know what it is. Only passwords need to be random. Random naming makes it hard to know what something belongs to. And obscurity is not security anyway.

It doesn't matter much about the database name, please use random passwords for security.

Hmm... I seem to be reading a lot of conflicting advice! It tells me that perhaps it doesn't really matter, or at least there's no actual evidence for or against. So in that case, better to name it something that makes sense. Any other thoughts?

Think of it like when giving names for your files. If you find 7ue3Y9l easy to remember and in your working environment is understandable, by all means go for it. As a database name and in terms of security, I am not sure why you think the one is more secure than the other.
