Looking for a budget reseller hosting
Posted by javathunderbird, 03-28-2007, 10:09 PM |
Hi All,
Currently I'm looking for a reseller hosting with a list of constraints in mind:
1. It should have a good CPanel Software.
2. Hopefully the space is around 16-20GB and bandwidth is around 300 to 400GB.
3. Hopefully it will have a anonymous end user support and has support for portable device email access (like cellphone, PDA...)
4. Finally, the price... hopefully is around $25-35/month.
I used to go with AIT but later find out that they sucks, tech support, cpanel sucks...
Could anyone give me some advice? I'm scratching my hair...
Thank you very much.
With my best,
Jim

Jim, if you want "16-20GB and bandwidth around 300 to 400GB" then what you really want is a dedicated server or at least a VPS server account. You won't really find that for $25, I fear. You may find offers for such huge reseller accounts, but how can they be serious? There is no profit to make if anyone would really use all that space and bandwidth ... for $25.

i don't think that you will consume 300-400GB in a month .. .but for $25 you will find soo many good host but with lesser bandwidth

How did you come to the conclusion that you need 400GB bandwidth? What is your monthly usage right now?

I think you should make sure you really need that much diskspace and bandwidth, if you do you'll need a VPS at least (if your sites aren't TOO resource intensive) or a server.

Hi javathunderbird,
For your space and bandwidth needs, you're going to have to look at a VPS or Dedicated server. The resources consumed will not be available through a Shared or Reseller atmosphere, unless you're hosting under an overseller and you're hoping to use all that space and bandwidth.
It would be in your best interest to re-evaluate what you really need over what you actually want and adjust your budget accordingly. Good luck in your search.
