I have been with Cartika for a couple years now. I started with reseller plans and moved to a managed dedicated solution. I can highly recommend them. Here is a "fairly" recent of H-Sphere thread that might be of interest to you:

it seems good company i read about them before , but they are quite expensive to me
I want some thing in around 20 - 25 USD monthly
with minimum 10000 mb space
i kept searching but i didnt have any luck , currently in hostdepartment I have 50gb disk space and i pay 20 USD.
i am willing to have less features and pay same price
if i manage to host php, asp, cfm it will be great but if i cant find cfm then no problem i can skip that.
but 2500 mb is far away less than 50 gb and for 40 dollars monthly its quite expensive IMHO.
hostdepartment has some trouble in their servers , usually i get some errors each week
now its the third week and strangely it happens every thursday , i get the feeling that they are under attack.
this thursday problem is one of their mail server is blocked by anti spam organization (acording to what they told me )
so for the bad luck , the only account i host now is on that mail server !!
so he cant send mails (18 hours so far and still counting some mails reach others dont)
if I cant get something in same price range which will make me host asp,php sell both unix and windows accounts , not necessary big features but lets say1/5 of what i have now as a minimum . then i will stick with hostdepartment
i can bare bumps on the road.

One other thing you could try is to go to psofts website, they have several hosts they deal with there that offer reseller plans. http://www.psoft.net/resellers.php As far as paying a couple extra bucks a month, I can certainly understand it can sometimes feel like it's not worth it. However, through your own admission, your paying extra now in terms of lost service, inability to send email, etc., by going with a cheaper host. If you can afford it and plan on expanding your reselling by getting more clients you should at least look into a higher quality host. I think you'll find quite a difference.

Hello dbfusion. Just to clarrify, that is $40 CAD (which is approx $32 USD I believe)
I apologize if you find that expensive - but, do you mind if I ask you what all of your current problems are costing you every single day?
Anyway, this unfortunately is the cost of reliable reseller services with our level of disk technology (redundant, fast, scsi drives) and our level of backups and redundant backups.
If you need that much disk space for that sort of budget, then you will be compromising some reliability, performance, etc...
If you can cope with some of the issues you are seeing and you do not want to pay for some of the items that can improve your overall service levels - then it is probably best for you to stay where you currently are....

I think 50GB of disk space is way to much to expect for $20 a month (even 1/2 that space). Even if a host used SATA drives; what other type of hardware, service, quality of bandwidth, and support could you expect if they are selling 50GB of disk space? Wouldn't take too many accounts to fill a server and you certainly couldn't expect any quality of components, service or support at that price.
Of course there are many hosts advertising this and more for even less....hehe
Remember most hosts using H-Sphere automatically have much higher prices as most of them cluster right out of the gate and have 3 servers where others may stuff mail,CP, DB, and HTTP on one machine.
