VPS - just set up by host, getting lfd failed, should I put 0 or 1?

I see that in WHM's firewall settings, I have a space that pertains to this. However, I'm new to this and I'm not sure if I should change it. Currently I get tons of emails saying ldf failed. I saw a post that said turn this part to 0, the testing flag. Is that what I want to do?

In WHM, go to ConfigServer Security & Firewall and then click the Configure Firewall button. Scroll down to MONOLITHIC_KERNEL and set the value to 1 to enable it. Then press the Change button, followed by the Restart csf+ldf button on the next page.

Thanks - I've looked on the page trying to find that setting, but I can't find it. I'll keep looking though. I do find references to Monolithic Kernels but not an option with a way to change anything. My WHM is WHM VPS Optimized 3.

When in testing mode LFD wont run and every 5 minutes blocked IP's are removed (incase your IP gets blocked) Whitelist your IP then turn testing off by setting it to 0
