openvz hosts: does ioprio work as intended for you?

I have tried to test --ioprio with various disk benchmarks but have failed to see any real differences in results between ioprio 0 and 7.
I have made sure that the scheduler for my drives is CFQ, does anyone else have this issue?
How I tested:

Priority' is not the same as 'Rate Limit'

If I remember correctly, ioprio is broken in 2.6.32 kernels for a very long time...

Yes, but if both processes are running in parallel and use all the available disk speed, then the one with higher priority should receive the highest speeds. If the disk wasn't completely exhausted and they weren't run in parallel, I would agree.

Test is flawed unless both are started at the same time.
Can you confirm if it was started at the same time as because the way you presented this it looks like it was consecutively.

Note the & at the end of each command, both were run at the same time in the background of two different virtual servers. The test usually gets between 500-600MB/s on this system using SSDs.
