Hello, Can you check if an entry for this dns zone is present under WHM > Delete a DNS Zone ?

Check to see if it's in /var/named/. If so, removed it and try again.

You should check whether it has an entry in /etc/named.conf . If yes, remove the entry.

if you have the zone for domain.com already you should not be trying to add a new zone but rather add an A record for server1.domain.com in the zone that already exists. that is assuming I understand you correctly of course. Last edited by JoJo MoJo; 07-11-2013 at 06:15 AM.

Please make sure that you can not add a new domain name entry in DNS zone if server1 A record of server1 OR www.server1 already exists in domain.com.

Try this on SSH: grep domainname.com /var/cpanel/users/*
