Eirca.net - is it them or just me?

I've been having a bear of a time connecting to Eirca's email servers today. Both pop3 and webmail time out on me most of the time. When it does get through, it's very slow. I don't think it's me because everything else is running fine for me, although I know it could be routing issues between me and them. Is anyone else having any issues? I've tried support but I'm not getting any response to my tickets. I've had a billing ticket in for 3 days with no response, and 2 support tickets that I've yet to get a response from. I'm thinking maybe they have their hands full with some sort of problem?

What are the ping / tracert reports to mail server mentioning? Did you try to initiate chat with them or probably speak to them over phone since there is no response to your tickets?

Hi Rick, no I haven't checked anything other than submitting the ticket. I did get a response to the ticket a couple hours back, but nothing since then, and still no email access.

Try use network-tools.com and see whether it can connect to your host.

I had this problem yesterday - smtp was not working, I opened a ticket to investigate it on server level and I got a 'silly' answer that either my isp is blocking port 25 (had no problem sending with other smtp servers...) or my smtp settings were not correct... Unfortunately, the service is not so stable as before - I hope they will improve.
