ideas to stem the tide of spam - using spamassain +MailScanner
Posted by silver_2000, 07-12-2013, 04:57 PM Dedicated LInux server hosting a bunch of domains In the last few weeks ( 10 ? ) seems there is a HUGE spike in spam getting past spamassasin and mailscanner - the spam is coming from random .biz .pw .me TLDs Since the server is US based and I manage it pretty closely Ive simply banned the entire TLDs from sending email to the server BUT That isnt sustainable long term What Im looking for is help in manipulating the spam scores so that email from a list of TLDs like above AUTOMATICALLY get 5 or more bayes points added to thier spam score - that way legit email cant still get through .. ( if here is any legit email coming from .pw domains ... Do you guys have any ideas on how to implement this or something similar ? Thanks in advance
