6 month review of our host, Easy CPanel Host Inc.

My hosting business moved to this company in October 2008. In this time we have had flawless service and lightning fast server speeds from them. I have had contact with some of their support people in cluding the owner, and found them knowledgeable and courteous. Most importantly, they have 24/7 telephone support, and a real human voice answers instead of a voice sequencer. I posted a positive review for this company before the data crash and it has vanished. For the record, I posted our invoice from last year, because there was complete disbelief we were even clients, and the owner had merely ghostwritten under another username. Our opinion has not changed since our review. I am sorry for those who feel this comany is not right for them. We will not be moving. We have everything we need. A company that works with us to achieve our goals. Since signing with them, I have seen negative and in one case a deliberate attempt to discredit this business claiming their staff used foul language with a sales prospect. This has simply not been our experience with them, and we would have left them immediately if anyone spoke so rudely to me or any of my staff. It bothers me that someone wants to put this company down, when they are trying so hard and succeeding. In our experience, Easy CPanel Host are always professional and they have always been willing to assist when we were designing the hosting site and integrating WHMCS billing. The site has a good SEO score (80%) and we are pleased with the result. The server our domains are hosted on have had 100% and 99.8% uptime respectively for February and March. (April escapes me, but I am sure it would have been the same) We plan over time to migrate all our domains and sites (20+ domains) from various VISPs, we have used over the years, and consolidate them on a VPS with them. I hope you find this short reviews is useful.

Hello foobic, Yes, hostyouridea.com is our domain. We have a customised reseller plan which is between an RS1 and RS2. I cannot comment on anyone else's experiences with this company, but ours. And, we are more than satisfied with the lengths George and his support team have gone to in order to meet our requirements. You will be the first to hear if they do anything to lose our confidence. So you're just a reseller client? The reason I ask is that Google cache shows your website appearing on the easycpanelhost.com domain as recently as 31 March. It's still there (without images) on easycpanelhost.info. Oh, and here's your old thread, also magically preserved by Google.

Hi all, I've been using their services since last october. I posted some reviews earlier on the board but my account got wiped when the WHT had issues. These people are pretty decent and responds very quickly to support tickets. Also i've personally talked (chat) with the owner of the company and he himself helped me a lot to understand and maintain a reseller. Their servers are very fast and loads websites much faster. On and off sometimes have dns resolving issues which corrects itself when i refresh or press the try again button. So far i've no issues with my sites except one which i'm not interested in fixing as it's minor and not important. all in all they are a really good hosting provider and you should really try them.

Well your experience pretty well mirrors mine. You may also get a visit from chief defective foobic, as I did. In my original review of this hosting company their Community Leader asked me to submit my invoice to prove I am a client (which I did and posted it publicly). Sadly, there are still those who waste their time and energy trawling the entire web for that illusive line of text that proves a connection other than reseller/hosting provider relationship. I am sure there are others brave enough to admit they are clients and are ahppy with the service as we are.

It proves that your website was once visible on your host's domain. That's extremely unusual, and with so many new hosts trying to boost their reputation with fake reviews here, it's suspicious. I notice you still haven't provided any explanation for why this happened.

We engaged them to develop the site with WHMCS customizations and integration. It would appear all you discovered is that they developed it on their own server. So you use this site to accuse me of writing a fake review when your peers have already accepted it on posts prior to WHT's data issues. Actually I am patiently waiting for a reply from WHM Admin to the report I placed on your post which I allege you use the site to violate the spirit and intent of the rules. Let's see if the WHT Admins agree with me. In the meantime, may I suggest you rerun a very keen eye over the post you claim as your evidence, as I believe it's content made your posts and research completley redundant and antagonistic.

Apparently, they not only developed it on their own server (normal) but on their own domain name (not at all normal). Why would they do that? Weren't they using their own domain for their own website? Why would they not use your domain name for the development? (Or rather, the domain they registered first in their own name and then transferred to the hostyouridea name 4 days later). If you feel my posts are misleading, please provide your explanation for all this. Or you can explain it all privately to the mods if you prefer - evidently you already know how to reach them.

Oh boy, This has gotten something to like an argument between the two of you. My my. Anyways people, FYI easycpanelhost is not only a normal webhost provider, they also develop websites. So isn't it normal for you to develop a client's website under your domain until it's production ready and then think about the domain name? Most pro here in Sri Lanka does that. A friend of mine who's working webdev company does it. He initially creates and hosts the site in his/their own servers until the client is satisfied an then only he rolls out to the domain. Even i do that cos it's cheaper or the client and me. And also you'd get some traffic for your site from it ne? PS. I'm not an employee or an ex-employee of Easycpanelhost, cos once one person had some issues with me on this regard I live half way around the world

Why don't you pose that question to the owner of East cPanel Host Corporation. He is a premium member here after all. For the record: I live on a tiny Caribbean island called Guadeloupe and this company is located somewhere in Canada according to its latest invoice.

I agree gunemalli. I beg the forum accept my apology. This has got out of hand. It ends here! There are sufficient threads and evidence for members to make their own conclusions. I have also submitted enough documentary evidence to Mods. This is a great forum and I do not want to be part of a slanging match and cause it to deteriorate.

The most important thing is that our clients are happy, thank you got all the positive comments. HostYourIdea has paid for a web design + hosting from us, Try to see things from his point of view. Thanks HostYourIdea for standing up for us. Glad to see our service is having some positive feed back.

Well, as it turns out not all clients from easycpanelhost are too happy. I myself gave you a positive review though i have only been with this company for a few months and today, precisely today, my site has been down for 12 hours. It is not the 1st time it happens but it is indeed the longest. The chat on your site it is truly ALWAYS online, what for??? It is truly ALWAYS a waste of time to contact anybody over there. All they can say (and the phrases are always the same) is: "I am sorry for the inconvenience, please open a ticket and our techs will take care of it" It is the most useless chat I have ever come across. "our techs" is in fact only one guy, he's truly nice and has always treated me correctly, I have no complaints about him, but he's only one, one guy, and obviously he has to sleep, eat some and take care of all the clients' problems in the server. Obviously this may take a long long time and most of the times I ask for him, he's not available. How can a host depend on only one person? It is so frustrating when i try to get real support and nobody is there to provide it. My site has been down for 12 hours and absolutely no one has replied to my tickets and no one has given me a solution. Not to mention that every single time i go to the "live chat" some lady says "we're sorry" and that's it. It is soooo frustrating, my store has lost many customers today and we made no sales. Who is going to pay for that? me, of course, for making the wrong choice when chosing host. I leave it here or I'll get higher blood pressure than i have since this morning.

It still bewilders me people still say things like this.. the skepticism / cynicism at WHT is what makes it one of the best places to read reviews.. why? Because they have to go through peer review! It's a far cry from wasting their time - I actually appreciate people digging deep to see if a review is fraudulent or misleading. So neener.

Dear CodyRo, Have you read the whole thread? If so you will see that I already proved the credentials of that review in February. It was merely a 6 month review which took the place of the one that was lost during the hack of WHT. I agree some skepticism is healthy. I also resolved the outstanding questions Foobic had in PM.

Indeed I have, though I still think it was necessary to point out that it's never a waste of time to take the time to look into reviews / things of this nature - if it wasn't brought up initially it wouldn't have been verified and would have to be taken with a grain of salt. I never questioned the validity of the review in my post, merely pointed out the fallacy of the person I quoted. Cheers!

Currently I`m in the throes of deciding upon a reseller hosting account, and would like to praise foobic for his diligence. It`s difficult enough with the choice available. TRUE uncoherced recommendations are certainly valuable in making an informed choice not just for parting with my money but the longterm effect of my relationship with those hosting my account and my perspective clients. Anyone remember Bonnie McKenzie? I think George has her beat in the Worst Host Ever category. You have no idea. And it isn't his systems or his unbelievable lack of knowledge and follow-through, its his vindictive, petty, unconscionable attitude towards his clients that's the worst. I made sure to move my stuff before posting here. Mirni, it was because of you that I went to George in the first place, I saw your little review. God help me. Luckily it was only for 35 days. It almost killed me. Frankly the man (he's young, but not a kid) can't find his own a$$ with both hands, a flashlight, and a search party. As for his 1,000 accounts, I'd be surprised if he has three left. When he did his upgrade, which was not announced, my sites were down for a bit, then came back. But then, bit by bit, they all disappeared. No mail, no sites, no access to whm or cpanel, nothing. They timed out at the new dc, liquidweb. Like Mirni, I spent three nights tearing out my hair, sending tickets, begging for help. Begging! On the fourth day I noticed that they were pinging to a different ip than those in my custom name servers. Sure enough, that was the problem. He forgot to tell us about the new ip. He just didn't understand why I would be "upset" over a little thing like that. But when he told me that I was the only one affected by this, I was completely gobsmacked. What? I am the only one of his thousands of clients with custom nameservers? Since Mirni and HostYourIdea didn't use them, I guess I was. HostYourIdea wouldn't be so sanguine if he had been using them, I assure you. The final straw was that George kinda sorta can't figure out how to set the reverse dns on his e-mail system so sites that require it bounce e-mails back. I first discovered it trying to answer an ad on craigslist. I told him. First he blamed me, then sent me a note saying he is "enable to fix it" and I should go elsewhere. I did. Whew. Poor George, he is his own worst enemy and that is what I told him. Mirni, Canada is VERY proactive in consumer affairs. If you can't get a resolution, look up the consumer affairs department of Ontario and send them an e-mail. That's what I intend to do if I don't get my refund from him. It's on his site, I have a screenshot in case he wants to remove it, and boy, they'll shut him down fast if he doesn't honor his own ad. All I can say is: thank God my family members are my only "clients." I lost a lot, and a lot of credibility, but I got out intact.

He apparently shut her down first, though. Let's not forget that! George told me that he spent $1000 on WHT ads starting May 1. If I had seen an ad that started out "DOSE YOU HOST PROVIDE BACKUPS?" I would have RUN as fast as I could do a host that took the time to edit his work. George can write English perfectly well; it's this kind of slovenliness that is his hallmark. The other day I told him that most people don't pay that much attention to the dime-a-dozen ads, they look at reviews. Reviews are 5x more valuable. Good customer care is free. I never looked at ads when I went to George; unfortunately it was after the crash here and Mirni's glowing report was all I could find. "Jerk" is too kind.

I wont trust Easy Cpanel Host of George/Goce K. for hosting my files for free Any of the member here remember HostXL and LastHost.net? been a customer of them and we all remember how bad that ended. After failing with HostXL / Lasthost.net and leaving many people scammed behind, he started Easy CPanel Host, which will probably end the same way now or later.

X-Hosted Thats the 2nd time you have brought that up. Host XL was started when I was 17 years old, we all got to start somewhere my experience and skill is much more advanced then when I was 17 years old. Host XL was open 1 year Closed due to money problems we only had 100 clients people who paid yearly we did not refund them because we did not have money to pay for servers let alone refund them. Last Host was even open shorter and all money was refunded to yearly payment clients we only had 10 clients total and maybe 1 or 2 paid yearly which we refunded Easy cPanel Host Open 2 Years Now Hosting 350+ Clients 200 Shared Hosting Clients 150 Reseller Clients We offer Weekly backups, Our client flow and income is very steady. I agree with "X-Hosted" and I wouldn't let them host my files for free! I don't know if anyone remembers me I had my sites hosted with them and they didn't know how to secure their servers. I've been online since 2003 and my sites were never hacked until they were hosted with EasyCpanelhost. All three websites were compromised with a phish-kit which consisted of a directory that masqueraded a UK Bank on one site and on the other an IRS website. I'd like to point out that not all three websites had a Coppermine Gallery. But all three websites were hacked! The 1st website with the UK bank phish-kit I tried to delete the directory I was getting "Permission Denied". So I contacted EasyCpanelhost about this issue and it went on for days. But when I told them that I was gonna contact the UK Bank and tell them my friendly hosting company isn't allowing me to delete the directory it was removed then. Next my other site was hacked and this time they installed an IRS phish-kit. After numerous emails, from the IRS, Domain Registar and people who fell victim to this I contacted EasyCpanelhost again. George emailed me and asked "what was hacked". I never got an immediate answer to this problem. Since I got flooded with emails I deleted the phish-kit directory. But the next day I had the same problem another IRS phish-kit directory was up and running. I noticed then EasyCpanelhost had placed my site offline and said I violated their "TOS" of which I didn't. My sites were hacked because their servers are unsecure and that was the only reason! I told them that since I paid for a year and they weren't giving me what I paid for to refund my money. They said their decision is final and they aren't gonna give me a refund. I went back and forth with them about getting my files and finally I got them. They blamed it on an unsecure script in my "Coppermine Gallery" of which I had since 2003 and it was never hacked. So I posted in the Coppermine Forum and they had a good laugh! My advice is to stay away from these people they don't know "jack" about securing a server. Instead they blame it on the customer so they can keep the money when it wasn't my fault! Don't make the same mistake I did, one day your sites online, and the next day it's gone. Another item of interest is when you try to retrive your data, that's when the games will begin. Save yourself the aggravation and avoid this hosting company! I was shocked to see that all of my posts were gone about EasyCpanelhost. I won't point any fingers at anyone but I can't help thinking it was a hosting company that had alot of negative posts who hacked this forum. I was told from Goce K that I embarrassed him here and he asked me to remove the posts. I told him when he returns the money EasyCpanelhost owes me then I'll ask the Admin here to do it. That would be one of the threads that got mangled in the process of restoring the database after the WHT hack a month or two back. It's hard to read because the quote tags are all missing. timepilot1 - please get in touch with the mods about merging your old and new usernames.

oh geez i was just looking around finding answer about easycpanelhost why their live chat is currently offline then i found this thread. Gawd a lot of negative feedbacks here. I just hope i wont regret my subscription with 'em i had a 1 year contract oh my im keeping my faith i aint gonna panic. But it was 2 days since their live support is offline this is what i get. i dont know what that mean is so i just opened a ticket but until now i havent heard from them so i decided to call their toll free number but the recorded voice keep on saying "temporarily suspended." i know i dialed the correct number 18662318146 ... nuh ill just leave it to them hope easycpanelhost wont fail me. This is my 1st time to post here and worst is i got this scenario.. geez

I have sent them 6 support tickets this was over a week ago still no reply. They say on there front page 30 Day Refund Period No Hassle Full Refund Same Day They do not honor this I am not with them any more I think this is a fake review How can they go from being so good to so bad.
