Slow POST or SQL Injections? Need Help

I'm sure i'm using the wrong terminology in the headline however here is my issue: I moved from a VPS to a Dedicated server. The site is faster than ever however the upload form on my website is taking forever. The upload is fast, however when you submit the page, it takes forever. It's a three stage process to submit an mp3 on my site. Page 1, you enter your details and upload the song, page two basically shows you what it willl look like, then you click submit on page two and it is supposed to submit the song however that is where everything slows down. Once you click SUBMIT, it can take upwards of 3-5 minutes to post the data to the sql db. I'm thinking this is a problem with the server config since it didn't happen on the old box. Are there any apache/sql/php config options that I should look into to rememdy this issue? edit: the website is hiphopvip.com if you'd like to try it for yourself.

UPDATE on this: Still super slow uploading however some songs don't even upload. If you reencode them through audacity though they upload straight away Any ideas? Last edited by crispyhihats; 08-19-2013 at 06:23 PM.
