Burst.net VPS down
Posted by c0mputeRb0y, 03-10-2011, 03:03 PM |
So I have this VPS located in LA and it's been offline for the past 3 hours. The website is working and all that but the server itself is offline. About 1 hour before it went offline it got really slow. SSH, the control panel and FTP were all suffering from the slow down. Is this happening to anyone else?

Hello,
I am going to assume that your VEID is 3021xxx. About the timeframe you mentioned, a user was heavily abusing the node. AS soon as we were aware it was removed. You should be fine at this point.
If this is NOT the case, you need to open up a support ticket with us.

Reason: correct pronoun usage and clarification.

Yes my VEID does start with that and it still isn't working. I've opened a ticket about 2 hours ago.

That is incorrect, your VPS was back online atleast an hour before you posted that:
[root@vserver3021 ~]# vzctl exec 302109* w
23:02:42 up 1:18, 0 users, load average: 0.00, 0.00, 0.00
USER TTY FROM LOGIN@ IDLE JCPU PCPU WHAT
...back online at about 1:50PM EST, and you posted that at 2:52 PM EST.

Nope, it wasn't. Only started working about 20 minutes ago.
