Netearthone or eNom SSL?

Posted by Ajax87, 02-21-2011, 02:28 AM
I've hearing nothing but positive things about netearthone with the exception of their high SSL costs. There doesn't seem to be as big as a gap in the pricing between domains as there is in SSL costs, please correct me if I am wrong. Do you often sell SSL certificates? Does it make up the difference with the price difference in the domains? I am reselling to mostly local people so there's a mix of individuals and businesses. I find that the difference in the deposit and the integration don't really bother me. Cheers.

Netearthone isn't bad at all, one big provider "Host gator" used enom for the longest so i mean its all a personal preference and that also says something good about enom.

So the pricing difference usually evens out in the end?

Unless you are going to be selling a lot of certs and domains, I'll say use SSL Reseller (NetEarthOne) for reselling certificates. Albeit the costs are slightly higher without a huge initial deposit, it is probably better than eNom's $100 minimum deposit amount if you aren't making frequent purchase at eNom. The domain costs at eNom are muhc more expensive compared to NEO.

Good choice, higher costs and a higher deposit amount with eNom.

Chris does offer great service -- I highly recommend Netearthone! Only thing I wish was better documentation on the API, but thats not their fault.
