i have just one website .. it's forum .. i rent vps with cpanel .. i pay a lot for it ... recently i saw the reseller plane around of this site and it's much much cheaper than what i pay so is there difference if i rent reseller plane and just host my server or stay on the vps ... is this ganaa effect on my site speed specially am looking for making my website much faster than now .. i have almost 1500 to 2000 visitors daily alexa test speed give me 6.002 but am not really satisfied because it's used to be 2.241 so i need your advice and please consider the price " vps is expensive "

Hi Murad, In my opinion if you wanted to grow your forum, stay with the vps. Should you do not have intention on growing your forum, a reseller should be adequate (more than enough). Please bare in mind that reseller has limited share of resources, while vps is only limited to the spec you are paying for. I think the best way is to ask your host for a special price and downgrade your spec right now and let then know that you are willing to stay with them and would upgrade again once your resources is already at its max.

Whats your current bandwidth and disk space usage? Who were you with when it was 2.241 ?

Hi, This question depends on what your forum is all about. Are you doing extreme video and photo sharing on it or is it a simple text forum? What are the current specs of the vps and what are you paying for it? Finally, where is the VPS located? Is it near your target audience?

My tip is to stay on a vps, but that does not hold you to look for a cheaper vps maybe? Good luck with your decision.

I think vps is the best fit for your needs. You may look at better vps offers.

Yes stay with your VPS and if you are happy with your provider then don't look for new VPS saving few dollars will not worth it if your new services provider turns out to be a bad one

I recommend just keeping your VPS and installing Varnish! It's the best thing since sliced bread!

Stay with VPS and you may need to move on dedicated server later, as your forum growing well.

the question is what is the payment difference. Is your forum outgrow from VPS to dedicated server. Is this in your budget in the start of this thread you want to shift from VPS to reseller because of the budget issue. You are the only one who can answer above questions However there are many good companies which are providing managed dedicated servers

Guess a VPS will be the best way out for you.
