How can I check what is the current port speed assigned to my dedicated server? if 100mb or 1000mb?

Login to ssh: wget http://cachefly.cachefly.net/100mb.test if download rate is upto 20-30 mb then your port speed is 100mbit and if it's more that 30 (around 60-70) it's 1Gbps

DL speed is (9.87 MB/s). I never see my DL speed go beyond that..

what is the result of tis command on server : * first run ifconfig to find network interface name (eth0) Last edited by ServerSub; 09-24-2014 at 04:26 AM.

Then your port is : Speed: 100Mb/s
