Windows Administrator user issue

| Since past two days we have noticed that there have been multiple windows servers in which the administrator user can no longer log in. We have checked with the customers who say they have not changed any password. It is quite strange that the password is no longer working for multiple servers. Is there some kind of windows bug or vulnerability causing this?

| The only latest windows security bug that is critical can be found here. This might be the issue. I would run this patch.

| Do you think the attackers could have managed to change the administrator user's password?

| If auditing is enabled, you can check the windows event log for the details:
