Hi On a dedicated server some times i am getting high cpu load and from top i can't see something that is using a lot of cpu and i think it is something from the system running at this time or maybe a cron (copy command?) .... How can i check better than top what is doing the server the current time? Thanks

Do you have software RAID? It could be the resync process.

Hello, Could you provide the output of top c? Is the CPU user usage is high OR CPU system usage is high OR is IO wait is high?

I believe it would be much easier to debug if you could show us what you see during these high CPU usage times in top.
