We are thinking of moving from smartermail to mailenable and was wondering how good or bad is the integrated spam filter of mailenable. Any comments?

Any specific reason to move to MailEnable. SmarterMail is better than MailEanle in my point of view. You can do almost everything directly from SmarterMail admin and you hardly require to manage server remotely. With reference to antispam, I think there is not much difference between them.

We are changing our Windows server from Website Panel to Plesk and our provider suggested Mailenable as it is the default email server on Plesk. I also like Smartermail despite that the webmail interface has some issues with Chrome for Mac.

If you are moving to Plesk, you can still use SmarterMail. If you are using old SmarterMail version, you will face issue in webmail. There was compatibility issues in old versions.
