To make it easy for you, better hire someone to do it for you. Moved > Hosting Security and Technology.

1. go in /etc/sysconfig/network-scripts/ 2. create a file name ifcfg-eth0:0 which contains: DEVICE="eth0:0" BOOTPROTO="static" IPADDR="failover_ip" ---> replace with failover ip MTU="1500" NETMASK="255.255.255.255" NM_CONTROLLED="yes" ONBOOT="yes" TYPE="Ethernet" 3. repeat steaps 1,2 but replace name of files with ifcfg-eth0:1,ifcfg-eth0:2... also do not forget to change also DEVICE to eth0:1,eth0:2 ... 4. After you have all the files run /etc/init.d/network restart. 5. To see the ip address use ifconfig

My default netmask is: NETMASK="255.255.255.0" i put this one on the new eth's ? Or yours NETMASK="255.255.255.255"

I think this is totally wrong online.fr uses mac address for all they ips so in that way you will need to add the mac address in order to work note : if you did anything wrong with your network setting you lose the connexion to your server and you won't be able to connect via ssh so be carefull with what you doing another note : if you want easy panel use virtualizor its good panel and it makes everything easy to you !

Global IPv6 forwarding is disabled in configuration, but not currently disabled in kernel Please restart network with '/sbin/service network restart'

Posted by TempleNode, 02-09-2015, 10:00 AM
For failover put 255.255.255.255

Posted by TempleNode, 02-09-2015, 10:01 AM
Add in those files IPV6INIT="yes" and restart network

I had posted the config files which I have on servers and yes I run few servers on online.net and all work with that configuration.

Global IPv6 forwarding is disabled in configuration, but not currently disabled in kernel Please restart network with '/sbin/service network restart' [ OK ] Bringing up interface venet0: Bringing up interface venet0: Configuring interface venet0: net.ipv4.conf.venet0.send_redirects = 0 Configuring ipv6 venet0: [ OK ] I still got ipv6 forward is disabled, and i have added the line..

There are two ways 1. add IPV6INIT="yes" in all ifcfg-eth0:x files 2. disable ipv6 globally by adding in sysctl.conf : net.ipv6.conf.all.disable_ipv6 = 1 net.ipv6.conf.default.disable_ipv6 = 1 net.ipv6.conf.lo.disable_ipv6 = 1 and than sysctl -p /etc/sysctl.conf. If all is working ok than when you run ifconfig you should not see inet6 addr: ....

Posted by viewstar, 02-09-2015, 10:18 AM
Ok now i see all the ips in ifconfig, but when i try to ping i got timed out..

Posted by TempleNode, 02-09-2015, 10:40 AM
In ifcfg-eth0 you will see a UUID="daae13e0-914e-4abd-950f-db17b328e8ac" add that line to each ifcfg-eth0:X and restart network. Also check your firewall rules if you have any.

I have added but still no response. Form ssh(main ip) if i ping i got reply but from external no response. No firewall rules.

Have you setup the IPs with the subnet mask 255.255.255.255 ? The Gateway is your main servers IP .1 If you are using the IPs in a VM it is required that you allocate a vMAC to your IP
