Net Earth One WHMCS Problem
Posted by Olliedog, 01-15-2014, 08:42 AM |
Hi,
Im having trouble with the setup of the Net Earth One reseller console.
Ive setup a testing account with Net Earth One
The Net Earth One module is installed with the demo id number and API key from the API section and the testing check box ticked
I have a domain name setup in the domain pricing and the registrar set to Net Earth One.
Once the demo domain is purchased and set to paid in WHMCS, i would have expected the name to appear in the demo account on Net Earth Net interface.
Ive checked the module logs in Utilities > logs > module log, but it is empty.
Im guessing I've missed something simple, do you have any idea's
thanks
Andy

If the order has been completed, it should be on the Recently Added tab on the Reseller Index, as well as the Order List (on manage.netearthone.com).
Also, what do you mean by "demo id number"? Are you referring to a Demo Reseller account on cp.onlyfordemo.net? Or something else?

Have you missed something simple? Like whitelisting the servers IPs for the API?

Hi Mike,
you might be right, I put in the IP address i was given with the reseller account, but I've just checked the DNS setup in cpanel and the last number is different, Ive just added the new IP address to the reseller white list, but have to wait half hour for it to sort.
thanks

Ive tracked the problem down to user error on my part.
I was accepting the order before it was paid, and the system thought I had a duplicate domain.
Tried it now with a .co.uk name and all ok, but when I tried it with a .com didn't register and gave an error in the log
NameServer NS4.example.com is not a valid Nameserver I've checked on DNDToolKit and all names resolve ok, any ideas about this?
Thanks for your help

Have you registered NS4 as a nameserver. I don't know how it is done for every registrar but their is usually a link that says add registrar in the domains control panel. This is separate from creating an A Record.

Sorted, Net Earth only let you use two name servers they have setup for their testing reseller account, so only these work no mater what you've done with your own name servers.
Thanks for the help and replys
