vps hosting provider what to buy or not to buy.

So it seems to be complicated nowerdays to buy and look for a good VPS providers. The cheapest providers are cheap of course but service are bad and you can even loose your data. The Top providers are good but way to expensive and resources limited. The ideas is not to buy limited resources for high price and good service support. I am wondering what to buy finally considering the following: VPS Xen/Openvz 2GB memory for decent cpanel dedicated or what. I am not sure what provider are giving in reality. 60GB minimum 2 IP minimum for proper nameservers SSD minimum cpanel licenses included centos 64bit This is what i would need for hosting 14 sites mostly wordpress and manage my own server myself. I could have remove cpanel but i want to easy way. How about this company offering so cheap VPS. https://www.ovh.ie/vps/ Ok please share your ideas so i can finally come up with a final decision. I have also taken a test vps from www.********.ws but the download speed to my country is way too slow. regards, Sebastien

Hello, Providers giving servers for cheaper rate doest mean that the support quality will be bad. They might be new to the market and trying to bring up their mark in the market. 2GB RAM server with cPanel will be find for handling 14 websites. Also try choosing a provider who allows you to upgrade the plan if you are facing any issue with the resources.

May I know what country do you belong to? And what kind of price are you looking forward to pay for the specs mentioned above? I would suggest you to keep cpanel as it will be really easy for you to manage all these websites, but it consumes half of your RAM so yeah, keep a cap of another GB in case if you need it in future.

Remember, some companies cut on support costs in order to provide cheaper pricing options. Support costs a lot, so by hiring less support staff they are able to offer cheap rates.

If you go for OVH vps, make sure to search them here first about their vps support and such. If you want good support, don't look for cheap providers.
