First of all if i posted it on wrong section please move the thread cause i am newbie here. And the title describes the question well I have 2 WP blogs and want to move them to DO 5$ plan

Moving blog is just about copying the web files, creating a database on the remote end and restoring the database backup from source. If you can FTP the required files and if your support team will help you, then well and good.

You can use wp duplicator plugin for easy migration.

If you want to move them manually, then you will need to create a database backup for both blogs, restore it into the new account, and move all the web files, just as @HWH-Jessica noted. However, if both hosts run cPanel, you should be able to do a full account backup from your current provider and then restore it with the new provider - this will save you a lot of time.

If you use the same setup on the new host, then I do not think it will cause any issue.

Normally it should not cause issues, however if you have root access then it is better to configure it the same way, so that no issues will occur.

You need to create the two sites in DO. If there is no control panel then create a virtualhost in apache, create the proper document root with correct ownership and permission and copy the wordpress files to it. It is not just wp-content folder, but copy the installation as a whole. Then create the database here with same username and password and restore it. Then check if the sites are working.
