WHT isn't really the place for sourcing this kind of thing, for better results please try:

Although you can find (low spec) servers at $12/year, it goes without saying that any data could be lost at any moment and the service may well be unreliable.

You might as well be asking for free hosting. I wouldn't trust a virtual server for $1/month if it exists out there.

What linux system is the lightest? CentOS?

Lubuntu is fairly light.

Realistically, you're not going to find a server for $1/month, especially Windows-based. If you do, I would be EXTREMELY wary of it. $0.02>

1) Buy a Raspberry Pi
2) Find a provider that will add it to their rack for $1/mo
That's about the same performance, and better reliability then you will get from a $1/mo VPS

I glazed right over the remote desktop requirement.
No way will you get a reliable $1/month VPS for that.

As far as I was aware you can't even get an IPv4 for $1/m so I am curious as to why any company in their right mind would give a VPS for $1/m?

All of the spammy datacenters sell IPs for less than $1 each in bulk, or you can go IPv6 only. No company in their right mind would do it, but it's the ones that are crazy and don't intend to stay around forever that do.

He probably doesn't care for it anyway.

Why you are telling that it is not possible? it is possible! To make those VPS profitable:
Dual machine overselled 30x - 40x times, IPv6 address only

Actually I did see some super cheap VPS. I don't know whether it still exists or not, Sentris did offered $4.5/3Yr before and it has 1 Public IPv4 Address (OVZ, 64M Mem, 2G HDD).
Theoretically this is even lower than the price of an public IP address...
(the cheapest IPv4 address I have seen so far is approx. $50/256IPv4/Mo, which means approx. $2.34/IP/Yr)
However there is always one thing true: cheap + stable + high performance and fast network = daydream

He actually wants a Windows VPS with remote desktop. Anything below $7 $8 is probably a scam, just be careful.

Anything too cheap with a Windows server is likely a pirated / unlicensed version of Windows.

In $1 Windows VPS is not possible because of Windows license and main node maintenance, resources cost.
Like to see, if really anybody offer it

$1 for Windows VPS? be realistic with your expectations.

You should be really glad that the OP didn't ask for a SQL license to go with it. Unbelievable what some people ask for...

And for the price of $2 for one month even you recommend me something?
The best of Windows to browser only walked steadily location United States.

Even at $2.00 it's not going to happen. You MAY find a host offering the first month for $2.00 for example, but never for $2.00 month recurring.
Take a look in the VPS offers section here at WHT.

yes it's possible, simply use summerhost or onemonthhost, such company will not last long but they will temporary provide you with NAT IP or IPv6 and only 25k VMs per node.

Take a look into buyvm or hostigation. Yes. You do have to pay yearly for that kind of pricing but you will be in good hands. Now if you want to do vnc stuff (remote desktop), you will not a $1 or similarly priced vps to be a good fit for your need.

Few days ago I got a quote for 750 VPS with remote desktop, budget - $600, promised to renew after 1st month He told that already know where to get $1/vps. Of course did not believe

What specs are you getting on those VPS's? If you need $750 VPS's, get a dedicated server and a copy on Windows 2012 DC and provision your own.

I am not looking for VPS, somebody asked me to sell 750 Win VPS, lol

Even $2 won't fetch you anything. You better run the application on your home desktop.

You may get a trial for one month from few providers for $1 but i don't think you will get it for life time at this price.

Since the Op hasn't been back for over a week, and everyone's giving much the same answers, we'll go ahead and closer this.
