Knownhost Review
Posted by jake-webhtalk, 08-24-2016, 02:38 AM Finally decided to come back for a quick Knownhost review. I've had an account here on WHT for many years but haven't been back in a while and my password app has no recollection of user name or password. Hence, new account. Apologies if warranted! Knownhost: I've used a ton of hosts before them, all the way from free 1and1 (remember those, like a decade ago?) to various shared and dedicated options. Not new at all to the hosting game, and it was invariably finding a new one every so often, when one would go out of business (or disappear as happened once) or support would be awful, or all the things that seem to happen with hosting. Till the Knownhost guys. It's amazing to me that over the past several years they've always been 100% consistent in responding within a minute or two (usually at night since I tend to be on some Asian time zone), always have a great solution, always explain things in detail, and never give me a hard time for asking things that aren't really a server problem (like all the times a site would go down and it was really a code issue - they always saved my hide). No downtime issues, no support issues, really been great so far. Not a paid review of course, no other benefit to me than to say, a strong thumbs up for Knownhost from me. (I use a VPS, currently VPS3 with them.)
