If you go that low in Asia you probably won't get a good vps

I would look into West Coast location instead for that budget.

If it's cPanel DNS only, there are only two well-known options at that price range that I know of - digitalocean and vultr.
Do note that depending on where your target audience is, their routes might be a hit or a miss. Exoticvps does have a big list on some other brand names but I have never used them before.

cPanel DNS only requires <256MB RAM on load but needs about 512-768MB for the installer. You should be able to find something within that budget quite easily.

If i were you, i would better pay some extra money for reliability and speed than to see my web sites down.
Believe $15-20/mo will be good budget for ordering resourceful virtual private server in Asia.

The budget is enough for you to find budget vps for DNS

What are the number of zones you are looking to host in?

Hi,
as i know, the zone files are general text file and it should not take space, correct ?
it is about 9000-10000 records now.

Space won't be an issues. The thing is on the CPU and RAM that you might want to take note. If you have closed to 10K of zones, probably considering increase your budget so you can get probably at least 1-2GB of memory resource.

I don't think, you will get $5 VPS in Asian data-centers.

Depending on how many zones you will use (Ram and proc) and about disk space i think it no issue
https://documentation.cpanel.net/dis...m+Requirements
Minimum RAM requirement 768MB but if you have RAM 512MB you can edit file install and change min_memory_rules (default 768MB change it to 512MB)

Asia is one of the most expensive regions for bandwidth and co-location, raise your budget, otherwise you'll be with a provider that oversells and that won't be a good experience for you!

I believe Digital Ocean have VPS services out of Singapore which aren't too bad. It'll be more than $5/m though.
If you are just trying to achieve geographic diversity, you may find something in Australia for around $10/m. Even AWS in Sydney might be an option.

IndoVirtue offers Singapore VPS (Budget) for $5/month and it comes with 512MB RAM - if you are willing to increase your budget to $7/month you can get double the RAM (1024MB). We have used them for a side project and throughout the span of the project their servers have been stable.

I think that you can also complete related research on the forums in Singapore or Hong Kong which are English speaking ones and there you can find some additional information and get some additional advises.
