MySQL and ASP possible?

Can .asp wok with MySQL? If so, is it hard to rescript ASP files made to work with MS SQL 2005 to get them to work with MySQL?

The answer to the first part is yes. The answer to the second part is "depends".

For working ASP with mysql, you can use MyODBC. You can get the latest version 3.51.06 from the mysql website.

Always good to have ASP work with MSSQL. I seldom heard of ASP working with mysql..

MyODBC is an ODBC interface which allows programming languages that support the ODBC interface (e.g. ASP, VB) to communicate with a MySQL database. You can read a detailed article on "Using MyODBC To Access Your MySQL Database Via ASP" on devarticles dot com.
