What are you doing to get your newsletter checked for spam before being shipped out, is there any good sites with which words you should not use uppercase / lowercase letters, use of caps lock and such?

If I understand you correctly, you want to check your newsletters before sending them to ensure that they won't get picked up by your readers spam filters? I'm afraid that's really not possible. Each mail servers spam filters will be different. Aside from white/black/gray lists, most are adaptive and can "learn" spam, making every installation weigh particular keywords/phrases differently when assessing a score. Also, the overall score threshold will be different from server to server. Your best bet is to ask your readers to whitelist the sender address when subscribing to the list. Personally, I'm guilty of sending particular mailing lists that I don't read to my spam folder instead of unsubscribing. Eventually, SpamAssassin will start marking them as spam altogether and I never see them again. If someone does that with your list, there's really nothing you can do about it.
