Are all of your sites defaced?
If yes maybe your server is rooted. If no it should be a hack from one page.
Either way your security is not good enough.
Hire an admin, reload the OS(if your server is rooted),recover a backup, and next time be updated

So you have shared hosting and it's not your site??
There's a serious difference between having a virus on 'your server' and a virus on your host's server.
It's not about securing your site, it's about securing the server.
To deface a site (All that they seem to have done.......) all they need is FTP access or a remote shell via a vulnerability.

You need to hire a security professional to audit your server. Don't be afraid to whip out the good ole' check book, and be prepared to spend a bit of good money. Remember this as you start to feel over whelmed with the price.. "You get what you pay for".
Good luck in your endeavors!
