Same domain different servers

Hi, I have a dedicated server and now I am thinking of getting my second one. I would like to ask if it is possible with cpanel to have server1.domainA.com server2.domainA.com ? Do I just add a A entry for my host on the first server? Which one the 2 will be doing the DNS? Could I have both of them? Thank you

Do I just add a A entry for my host on the first server? yes thats right. You can run the dns in two ways , 1. prmary and secondary dns on server1 2. primary on server 1 and secondary on server 2 (cpanel dns cluster)

Just add an A entry in /var/named/domainA.com.db on your first server. (replace xxx.xxx.xxx.xxx with your second server main ip)
