Posted by kpmedia, 10-15-2012, 01:40 AM I have a function that needs tweaking. This works great in English, but not Spanish, German, Portuguese, etc. Umlauts, enyes (tilde), and other characters are ignored. So instead of "Probléme", I get "ProblÈMe" (from original "probléme"). The non-English character is capitalized, as is the next letter after it. The explode/implode doesn't work properly here on non-English. What can be adjusted on the above A-Za-z0-9 statements? I don't work with non-English in PHP that often, and I'm stumped.
