Hi madpato,
What cellular provider is he with? I may be able to provide some setup instructions that you can forward to him.
In terms of the email service, a standard POP3 setup (or even IMAP?) should work on his Blackberry. Exchange provides an awesome BlackBerry experience, but it's not needed per se - POP3 works just fine, and that should already be available on your server.

mmm actually i'm from chile i dont think u could help me with that, so aside that, ¿no specific port? because their cellphone provider sent him this
its asking for ip ranges and other things that i cant recognize ("ten0", wtf is that?) i dont think that has anything to do with this... it should be more simple since we/they work with pop3

There shouldn't be anything specific. I don't have experience with this out of the US, but I do know that with BIS you can have it check your email via either POP3 or IMAP. An exchange account with BES does in fact offer a better experience, as you're able to perform true synchronization, but your customer certainly can setup IMAP. From what I've seen it's pretty common that an account such as user@carrier.blackberry.net is given out, e.g. johndoe@sprint.blackberry.net. For the simplest solution (although a bit crude), your customer could even setup a forwarder to that account, and then everything will work right away with no configuration.

that means that i have nothing to do with that... i just give him the "normal config" (in fact he already has it because he already has accounts on desktop computers) and his cellphone provider has to redirect ¿right?

I have a Blackberry, and I set it up so all my emails from my gmail account is sent to my Blackberry. The way I did this, was I just setup a forward from myemail@gmail.com to myemail@blackberry.net
So I don't think you need anything special. At least I don't with the way I have things setup. Ask him if a forward will work. He will still be able to reply to emails and everything else.
