i think you buy unmanaged dedicated server.

Posted by thelion371, 10-05-2016, 01:47 PM
it's managed , you can visit the site and see all service that provided from it

if you contact several time if they are not replying than you move to other provider

I wait end of this week , and I will taking your advice. Thanks for replay

You're a whole lot more patient than I would be. No reply to a service ticket for 8 days on a server? That's just ludicrous. I hope you have remote backups.

Unfortunately, there is no backup remotely, and actually didn't respond to my messages 8 days ago! I am compelled to Wait them to access to the server in order to move my files

Even unmanaged server, 8 day response is not worth to stay.

First red flag should of been them wanting 0.35 euros per minute for tech support vs phone...

a best hosting provider response time is 10-30 min. if they are managed/unmanaged server provider. those provider not reply withing 8 days means they are not interested in there business.

You said you sent messages to the support email. Email is not a guaranteed method of communication, so it's possible your email didn't reach them or their response to your email didn't reach you. Do they have a web-based support ticket system you can use on the web? This would allow for better management of the issue.

Where did you get this from? Their site does not mention any managed service.

Posted by HostingBig, 10-06-2016, 07:44 AM
yes its managed if you buy the managed package 19.99 € Excl VAT & 149.99 € Excl VAT options But 8 days without at least a "were sorry your server is umanged", But again not defending them if you did not use the ticket system we all know email gets lost in filtering on occasion especially if you use free email services. (thanks spammers).

Could you please point out that offer? I cant find it at https://www.firstheberg.com/en/dedicated-server Yes and no. It would be important to know the full story, right now it is somewhat unclear.

If you have only tried to contact them via email, you may also consider calling them over phone or use the form on their website: https://www.firstheberg.com/en/contact-us

^ 100% this. Also, when you uploaded the site 8 days ago, did you not do this with your own files? If you did move the files yourself, and have copies still - then you wouldn't need to wait to gain access to start working with a new host. However, if you had somebody move the files then you may not have a copy. It's critical especially for cases like this that you keep your own backups. You wouldn't have to wait for your current host to answer your tickets. With that in mind, use the form or call in as @MechanicWeb-shoss suggested. Obviously the email ticket approach is failing for you, so it's time to step up your game and get them to notice your difficulty!
