I've been using intodns until I'm able to get out there and get my own alternative finished (slow process, but I'm working on it). From what I'm gathering intodns does just what is needed, it's great! Of course, it doesn't have all the resources I'd LIKE to have their (rbl checks, pr checks, etc), but I'm in the process of working on an all in one, just trying to do it and a good few others as well.

Obviously intodns.com helps you to get a detailed report on your DNS. You may also try for dnsgoodies.com which helps you in finding whois, DNS records informations...

Hi, anytime we have issues with dns's, usually with externally set up domains, we use checkdns.net Its really usefull to debug badly set up dns servers and debug mail server connections hope it helps!

how about zoneedit?

There are many such websites available, but one should agree nobody beats DNSSTUFF when it comes to the various different checks it offers. Iptools.com comes near Dnsstuff, but it is still not that effective. Spending a few bucks to get the membership of DNSSTUFF is worthy.

Which checks you do find most important that they offer and no others do? I know there is a lot there, but alot of it may never be used? Cheers, Sean

check out www.dnsgoodies.com also.

It is not just the checks that matter. Even the results they display contain lot of information than others. For example, for a DNS lookup, it actually shows the root servers' queries too.
