Anyone using DFT in Chicago?

By this question you are trying to find any hosting providers which have servers there or you have your own server(s) to place there?
Maybe (in case they exist) that would be better to check some local Chicago based boards?

What questions did you have? SingleHop uses them through Server Central (who is the middle man in this case). Should give some insight, but otherwise to answer your question, no we don't use DFT in their Chicago location. Maybe the community can better help if you listed some reasons for the interest in that location.

Hi All-
I'm not entirely clear what the questions are here, but would like to clarify a couple things as it relates to the mentions of SingleHop...
When you say 'DFT', I assume you're referring to 'DRT', which stands for Digital Realty Trust. They are a top tier data center builder and operator that SingleHop uses for our Franklin Park (Chicago) facility. We do not go through Server Central for this at all. There's no middle man between SingleHop and DRT.
If there are specific questions I can help answer about DRT or SingleHop, happy to help. Just drop the question here or send me a message directly.
Thanks!

If someone orders an E3 do you sell them an E5 because you assume you know what they really want?

Jumped the gun there and realized they were referring to Dupont shortly after but didn't edit my post. Anyhow, the rest of my note still applies.

From what I understand Singlehop is no longer in the Dupont Fabros Datacenter as they finished up their migration to their own space within the DRT realm a few years ago now?
DFT is excellent, but it's expensive. We're very happy there and I'm sure any others who are DFT will have only good things to say.
