I have a dedicated server. I asked my host but the answer was not clear. I want to set up some shared packages in LVE. Something like
new package 1
CPU Speed 200%
Memory 2048
i/o speed 4mb
new packages 2/3/4
cpu speed 400%
memory 4096/6144/8192mb
i/o speed 6/8/10mb
My host suggested instead
Normal use
CPU Speed 100%
Memory 1048
i/o speed 20mb
VIP use
cpu speed 300%
memory 3096mb
i/o speed 60mb
My real question was however whether i needed more resources. Can anyone make some suggestions here?

What are the specifications on your dedicated server? That's the only way we would have some ideas.

You are giving a lot of cpu and ram while you have just 4 cores only not to mention the ram you might have there. Not possible.
How many accounts you are planning to put on your server?

Not many at the moment. Around 200. What kinda upgrades do you recommend?
