Is this a server or a script issue? Code: *** ****.com 1.25 4.03 0.0 Top Process %CPU 54.0 /usr/bin/perl /usr/local/cpanel/base/awstats.pl Top Process %CPU 14.0 /usr/local/cpanel/cpanel -webmail ./webmail/x3/index.html I'm running on my account a joomla portal with a vbulletin forum. This high load is caused by my software? __________________SitePagerank.info: Check your website's pagerank!!

It appears your web statistics for awstats is using a lot of CPU, this is normal for awstats, however the CPU usage for any average system isn't. If you really need awstats, keep it enabled but otherwise disable it - its a CPU hog at the worst of times. Webmail doesn't appear to be an issue, 14% cpu isn't much to worry about. Conclusion: The high load is not caused by your software, its being caused by the web statistics ( awstats ) __________________Server Systems Administration NZ | SSANZGot Hacked? | 24/7/365 Remote Professional Support | Affordable Server Management

LoganNZ's completely right on that. If you need awstats, try configuring it to run at the your servers quietest time so it has less effect on your sites. __________________Market HostingUK Web Hosting - Let us take care of it

Make sure that Awstats Reverse Dns Resolution is not enabled because it usually causes high loads. You can disable it in WHM -> Tweak Settings.
