Hot Topic! - Buying Hardware

Today I was informed that a client of ours, needs a server for his website. imp: There is only one website and he limited our budget to $5000!!!! which is a good budget to buy a server. considering the fact that he wants his ecommerce web site running, which consumes a great load of ram and cpu processes related to DB, and also our limited amount of time to buy the server(less than 24 hours time) we would buy a ready made hardware from dell, HP or any good provider. BTW, OS is redhat. what would you suggest?

Posted by nomankhn, 10-09-2009, 04:51 PM RedHat will you purchase RHEL license? I suggest better use Fedora-11, may be your client is already using some custom application and some time it requires latest applications like php 5.2 and etc.
