disable NDR

One of my customers runs a newsletter service and also provides email database to the customers. He sends out newsletters to those email addresses from his application on behalf of the customers. The problem is that there are lots of bounces generated and sent to the customers' email addresses as their email addresses are used in the From Address. He wants it to be disabled. I have installed Smartermail in the server, but could not find any option to disable NDR in it. Does somebody know how to disable NDR in smartermail or any other mail server which has the option to disable NDR? The server is a Windows 2003 server.

It would be better to process the NDR's and clean the list. If he does not, then the list gets dirtier over time, and servers start refusing on the basis of too many unknown addresses.
