cpanel account creation

Posted by rankris, 08-12-2009, 10:48 AM
When I restore a cpanel backup it says from ssh (Sorry, a group for that username already exists.) I tried removing the username line from /etc/passwd , Anyone has an Idea how to resolve this?

user account related information is stored in /etc/passwd, /etc/shadow and /etc/group files to store user information. Check all. Thanks
