APF and BFD not running?
Posted by Clive, 11-27-2009, 05:13 PM Hi, I recently installed APF and BFD after. I then run APF using: service apf start It seems to start fine. It shows: {glob} firewall initialized {glob} fast load snapshot saved. I have it DEVEL_MODE = 0 but when I try to see the process list using top, I cant see APF anywhere. I cant see it on webmin's process list too. Same goes for BFD. It starts fine and just displays the copyright messages and authors, then I cant see it from the process list too. Is there anything wrong? Thanks in advance
Posted by david510, 11-27-2009, 05:33 PM You can check if apf is running by running the below command. If it shows the apf related rules, you can confirm apf is running.
